At Footsteps, we care for babies and children aged 6 weeks up to 11 years old, giving parents a complete childcare service. We provide a wide range of childcare services from full and part-time day care to wrap-around care for school age children.

In Carerphilly we are lucky to have a wonderful building which has been restored and converted from a former Police Station built in 1907. In Merthyr Tydfil, we can be found in a brand new purpose built nursery, which is part of the Cwm Golau Integrated Children's Centre, in the village of Pentrebach, near the A470.

In both settings, children are cared for in small groups by qualified, caring staff. As well as our day nursery facilities we offer before and after school clubs and holiday clubs for children up to 11 years old. We operate a ‘school run’ service taking children to, and collecting them from school, in both Caerphilly and Merthyr Tydfil nurseries.

The early years in a child’s life are so important, so the staff at Footsteps are hand picked and truly understand the special world of childhood. Some of our staff are fluent Welsh speakers. It is our aim to make everyday that your child spends with us a special day. We have a fully co-ordinated programme of activities and learning opportunities, where your child’s development is carefully monitored.
